Balázs Beöthy Sevenfold Touch Installation for touchscreen, 2003 Programmer: András Szőnyi

We place a touchscreen in the exhibition space, on which a brief sequence is running round and round in a loop, on and on, until someone touches the screen. At that point, the image sequence changes as a function of its position at exactly that moment. With new touches it changes again. In this way, one can navigate through the story, which is built up from image sequences and newer series concealed behind them. Here the image clears, there the opposition straining between the sequences increases.
